All guests, regardless of package purchased, can still dine at the buffet, International Cafe, poolside pizza stand and grill, and main dining rooms at no extra cost (with the exception of some “upcharge” items). You can get the buffet for lunch any day of the cruise on a Princess cruise ship. The Caribbean Princess World Fresh Marketplace is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offering food throughout the day. At breakfast you'll find all the usual morning offerings, but if you want eggs made to order, head back to the buffet lines in Steamers or Planks.

Whether you are lounging by the pool or have just returned from a day ashore, this grill will satisfy your cravings. I didn’t go to any speciality restaurants during this cruise (restaurants that cost extra) but in the past, I have tried almost all of Princess’s speciality restaurants. I didn’t order room service on this cruise but have on Princess cruises in the past. Below are a couple of photos from my room service on Sky Princess. My brother said that his poolside burger from salty dog was the best that he’s ever had on a cruise. The pizza restaurant was called Slice and the poolside grill was called Salty Dog.

We’ve recently disembarked from a great cruise on the Regal Princess, and I thought I’d share the main dining room menus (main dishes, appetizers and desserts) with you. While the order of the nightly menus may be different, it’s likely that you’ll see these menus and food choices on your upcoming Princess Cruise. There are several dining options that are included in your cruise fare with Princess Cruises. These include the main dining rooms, the World Fresh Marketplace buffet, and many other casual options. With so many great offerings, you certainly do not have to pay extra for dining (if you don’t want to).

So, you will want to make sure you visit them all during your voyage. On the back side is a list of hours for different services and venues throughout the ship. You can even get a light breakfast sent directly to your room for free by ordering room service for breakfast the night before. Some items have an additional charge (as noted on the menus below), but many are complimentary. And if you have a beverage package (Plus or Premier), you CAN use it to order drinks through OceanNow.
While Princess Cruises does offer a number of complimentary dining venues, its cruise ships also feature a number of specialty restaurants. These restaurants do all have up-charges; though, they are certainly worth it. There is currently no assigned seating at any dining venues on board Princess ships; however, that is changing for cruises departing on or after September 14. For those sailings, guests can choose between traditional seating (with assigned dining times, tables, tablemates and waiters in the main dining room) or flexible seating.

We only ate in the World Fresh Marketplace once, but from our limited experience, it appeared on par with other cruise ship buffets. In our experience, you could also just show up at the main dining room (in our case Concerto) and be seated without an advanced reservation as well, although there could be a wait time. Until September, Princess will not offer assigned seating, and guests can choose to make reservations or not for the main dining room. If you are a solo diner or part of a couple or small group, your host might ask if you would like to sit with another party of a similar size in the main dining room; the choice is up to you.

We are back from the first sailing on Princess Cruises' new ship and have put together this Discovery Princess Restaurant Guide with menus. The buffet on the Emerald Princess was open from early in the morning until late at night. The buffet is split into two sides and is relatively small due to the small size of the ship.
Crooners tended to be open from 11 AM to late every day, and most signature drinks are covered in the cruise line’s drink package. In the center of Deck 7, Bellini’s Cocktail Bar is the main bar serving the Piazza. The bar features a signature cocktail menu inspired by the spirits of Italy. Signature drinks include staples like Prosecco, Limoncello, and more made with fresh ingredients. Bartenders here pour unique cocktails featuring the exclusive Grace O’Malley spirits. On port days, O’Malley’s Irish Pub opens at 4 PM until late, with the venue opening as early as 1 PM on sea days.
It’s dining with a side of excitement at the all-new Churrascaria Brazilian Grill. Quality meats boasting bold South American flavors are cooked to perfection in the tasty tradition of grilling churrasco style. Then our servers present these flavorful cuts on vertical skewers — and hand-carve them right onto your plate. Connect, sip Brazilian-inspired cocktails and get ready for a meal you’ll savor. You'll find lots of spots to grab a quick bite, dessert or coffee, including Coffee & Cones, Patisserie, Swirls Ice Cream Bar, The Pastry Shop, International Cafe and Gelateria — options vary depending on the ship. Food at these venues is included, but there is a charge for specialty coffees and teas unless you have a beverage package.
Lunch offers Indian, Middle Eastern, Italian and Mexican dishes; a carvery, soups and sandwiches; prepared and DIY salad fixings and more. Some nights the menu also features a "Crafted by Curtis Stone" item, brought to Princess by its partnership with celebrity chef Curtis Stone. Choices might include seafood stew with Chilean sea bass, black mussels and clams, or chicken and leek potpie. Breakfast in the main dining room features two menu items that change daily and a full list of standards available every day.
